Swedish manufacturer of telecommunication equipment and one of Ukrainian mobile operators intend to test 5G in Ukraine this year. They plan to hold experiment in six cities, Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkoiv, Cherkasy and Lviv. It is reported by internet.ua web portal.
The National Commission for the State Regulation of Communications and Information has agreed on safety measures needed to test the fifth-generation Internet in Ukraine to avoid any possible harm to human and animal. They intend to hold 5G test from December 1, 2019, but there is no approved schedule so far.
As The Journalist reported, President signed decree on the launch of work to introduce 5G in Ukraine.
