39 winners of Taras Shevchenko Literature Competition will be awarded Presidential Scholarships

The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has announced that 39 schoolchildren, students of vocational schools and students who became winners of the Taras Shevchenko International Literary Competition will receive scholarships from the President of Ukraine.

The draft decree was approved at the government meeting. The ministry emphasized that the scholarship period is one year.

The scholarship for students in schools is amounted to UAH 1,420 per month;

for students of higher educational institutions of the I-II level of accreditation the scholarship amounted to UAH 1,770 per month;

for students of higher educational institutions of the III-IV level of accreditation, cadets the scholarship is set at UAH 2,600 per month.

Recall that Taras Shevchenko Literature Competition is held in 4 stages, and more than 900 pupils and students entered the final. Of these, diplomas of I degree received 62 participants; and II degree received 130 participants; III degree received 196 participants.
