Human Rights Ombudsperson Lyudmila Denysova said that Ukrainian political prisoner Arsen Dzhepparov, who is illegally kept in a Russian pre-trial detention center in the Rostov Region, does not receive proper medical care. She wrote about this on her Facebook page.
To Denysova, Dzhepparov’s health condition worsened.
“Our compatriot’s health condition has deteriorated – he has a painful bump behind his ears, which caused by a boils. In addition, his health problems he had previously have not yet been resolved. In particular, he has constant severe headache, increased pressure and neoplasms on his face,” she wrote.
Denysova notes that the lawyer has repeatedly submitted applications to the prison administration about the need to provide Dzhepparov with medical care, but medical workers do not provide him with the necessary assistance.
Lyudmyla Denysova appealed to the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation Tatyana Moskalkova with a request to urgently take measures to restore the rights of the Ukrainian, namely, to facilitate a full medical examination, resulting in providing qualified medical care.
