Head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Serhiy Haidai and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine Etienne de Ponsen discussed the financing the railway construction in Luhansk region. This was reported by the press service of the Regional State Administration.
“The meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine should have good results for our Oblast. We have resolved several issues, the financing of which will be undertaken by our French partners. The estimated investment will be over EUR 100 million,” Serhiy Haidai said.
According to him, the money will be spent on the construction of a railway that will connect the Lantrativka-Kondrashevska-Nova line to the all-Ukrainian railway network.
Besides, the parties agreed on the electrification of the oblast’s rail service and the implementation of a project to clean the water supply system.
As The Journalist reported, Zelensky proposes allocate money received by Naftogaz from Gazprom to implement roads and medicine projects.
