The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Tuesday, February 25, will issue an update 200-hryvnia banknote. This was reported by the NBU press service.
According to the NBU, the updated banknote continues the new-generation-line hryvnia banknotes of 20, 100, 500 and 1000 hryvnia denominations. It contains the main image of a banknote of 200 hryvnias of the previous sample, has similar sizes and a similar color scheme.
The updated banknote will have enhanced protection against counterfeiting.
In particular, it will have improved embossing of printing elements, changed and improved ultraviolet and infrared protection, as well as black-colored serial number printed with characters of variable height vertically along the right edge of the back side of the banknote.
To NBU, citizens do not need to exchange 200-hryvnias banknotes of the old type for updated banknotes.
