Kyiv has received 1,200 express tests for the coronavirus, which was ordered by the city, Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said.
He noted that there should be 5,000 express tests by the end of this week.
“Kyiv received coronavirus express tests ordered by the city. There are 1,200 of them, and by the end of this week there should be 5,000 of them. Test systems will be distributed among 7 basic hospitals that will receive patients with suspected coronavirus,” Klitschko said.
According to the mayor, airports should receive equipment for express testing by the end of this week. It will be installed and used in Sikorskyy Airport and in Boryspil [airport].
“Kyiv is taking all possible preventive measures to avert the possible spread of the COVID-19 virus,” Klitschko summed up.
