Kuleba, Danish Foreign Ministry discuss fight against coronavirus

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba discussed in a telephone conversation with Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeppe Kofod the fight against coronavirus, assistance to Ukrainians, who cannot leave Denmark due to travel restrictions. This was reported by the press service of the Foreign Ministry.

Dmytro Kuleba called on the Danish Foreign Minister to help the citizens of Ukraine who stay in Denmark in the conditions of transport and travel restrictions in every possible way.

Kuleba also drew attention to Russia’s attempts to manipulate the pandemic and call for the lifting of sanctions under the guise of humanitarian considerations.

“I will be grateful if, at the time of the pandemic, Denmark does not impose sanctions over expired documents on those who cannot leave the country now. For its part, Ukraine will provide similar assistance to Danish citizens,” Kuleba said.

In his turn, Jeppe Kofod assured Dmitry Kuleba that he shared this approach.
