The European Union will provide Ukraine with EUR 4 million for public initiatives against coronavirus, EU Ambassador Matti Maasikas announced on his Twitter.

“The EU allocated EUR 4 million assistance for Ukraine to support civic initiatives aimed to help those who in need. The civil sector, the long time pillar of Ukraine’s society, is again at the forefront, fighting the COVID-19. I am really proud of being able to facilitate the EU assistance to those most in need in Ukraine,” Maasikas said.
