Minister of Health Maksym Stepaniv during the briefing held on April 16 said that 788 health workers in Ukraine are infected with coronavirus.
Stepanov noted that most of the health workers (126) were infected in the Chernivtsi oblast.
“We analyze each case of the disease separately, namely, in which hospital and in what conditions it happened,” Stepaniv said.
The number of infected doctors totals 18.9% of the total number of COVID-19 patients in Ukraine.
