On April 16, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, Minister of Defense Andriy Taran, and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel General Ruslan Khomchak, visited a newly built military town for the 128th separate mountain-assault brigade.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the leadership of the state and the Armed Forces of Ukraine examined the apartment building, an improved planning of the barracks and a dining room.

A military camp is built according to the standards of the Alliance member states. The dining room has high-tech equipment. An apartment house and an improved barracks are also equipped and are already waiting for their residents. The military town has football, basketball and other sports grounds.

“The servicemen of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade are now completing missions in an important section of Ukraine. And we prepared all the necessary conditions for their return home,” Taran said.

As The Journalist reported, Zelensky starts working trip to Zakarpattia oblast.
