The militants violated the silence regime 21 times over the past day in Donbas, firing at the positions of Ukrainian troops from 122mm artillery systems prohibited by the Minsk agreements, 120mm and 82mm mortars, as well as grenade launchers of various systems, UAVs, weapons mounted on infantry fighting vehicles, heavy machine guns and small arms. This was reported by the press service of the Joint Forces Operation HQ.
In the zone of responsibility of the Skhid [East] tactical group, the enemy fired two times on the positions of the Ukrainian military near Marjinka, and three times on the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Shyrokyne. Also, the militants shelled Novoselivka Druga, Avdiivka, Taramchuk, Pisky and Nivelske.
“Near the village of Starohnativka, the enemy used an unmanned aerial vehicle, dropping a VOG-17 shells on the Joint Forces positions, and then fired at Ukrainian troops from the armament mounted on infantry fighting vehicles,” the report reads.
In the zone of responsibility of the Pivnich [North] tactical group, the enemy four times shelled Novotoshkivske, Horikhove, and Krymske.
As a result of enemy shelling, six members of the Joint Forces were injured.
