President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during his press conference said that one of the tasks of the authorities is to build all national roads. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
“We really increased by nine times the number of roads we will build this year. Despite the problems, the economic crisis, COVID-19, we will build roads. How many? About 4.5 thousand kilometers,” the President said.
He noted that the task of the authorities is the construction of national roads that will unite the country and become a “showcase” of the Ukrainian state.
The head of state also emphasized that there are some problems with the restoration of local roads, that will be resolved for sure.
Zelensky noted that the authorities are currently working to find USD 3bn to upgrade all of Ukraine’s bridges and build new ones.
