Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Yevhen Yenin in an interview with RBC-Ukraine has said that black boxes are not the only thing that can help in the investigation, there are other ways to obtain evidence.
According to Yenin, there is still satellite data that confirms that the Ukrainian plane was shot down by two missiles.
“When the games with black boxes begin, we may pretend they were missed or become defective. There have been such cases, and more than once. For example, if one comes closely to a black box with taser, tomorrow he can’t read anything from it. We can continue to fight, but, in fact, we will end up with nothing,” Yenin said.
He also added that Iran should have video and audio data from the missile systems from which launched projectiles.
“It is not a tragedy if there will be no black boxes; this does not mean that there are no other opportunities to establish the truth,” the deputy foreign minister said.
