Another 58 people become infected with coronavirus in Kyiv over the past day. This was announced by the mayor of the capital Vitalii Klitschko.
“Another 58 people were diagnosed with coronavirus over the past day. One person has died. Today, there are already 4,084 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the capital,” Klitschko said.
According to him, among the sick are 25 women aged 24 to 79, as well as three girls who are 5, 7 and 12 years old, 28 men aged 19 to 95, and two boys aged 2 and 7.
He also added that four health workers fell ill with the coronavirus.
10 people were hospitalized; the rest are treated at home under the supervision of doctors.
“Some 56 people recovered over the past 24 hours. In total, 1,286 residents of the capital have overcome the coronavirus. Most cases of the disease over the past day were recorded in Solomiansky district – 11 cases, Obolonsky – 8 cases and in Sviatoshynsky district – 7 cases. Follow the rules! Take care of yourself and those around!” the mayor of Kyiv noted.
