Sweden sends humanitarian aid to Carpathian region

The Carpathian rescuers of the State Emergencies Ministry received humanitarian assistance from the Swedish government to deal with the consequences of floods.

Sweden provided humanitarian assistance to deal with the effects of the flood in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. This was reported by the press service of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine.

“The appropriate equipment, namely flood barriers, sandbags, barrier reels, cable ties and fire hoses, arrived on July 2 and was unloaded by rescue workers of the State Emergency Service in the Ivano-Frankivsk region,” the statement reads.

The equipment will be transferred to the Rogatyn, Tlumach, Nadvirnia and Halych areas of the region.
