Ukraine’s Chief Sanitary Doctor Viktor Lyashko in his interview to Ukrainian Radio said that from today Ukraine launched massive ELISA testing, adding that nearly 300 laboratories ready to carry out them.
“Now we are conducting about 14,000 tests daily, but with the amount of equipment that comes to the laboratory, in September we will double our possibilities. The main thing is to bring up people too. We are attracting laboratory assistants from other central executive bodies,” Lyashko said.
According to Lyashko, the government has distributed funds between the laboratories, and each of them independently purchases tests that are more convenient to work with precisely the equipment that is located on the territory of the laboratory.
Lyashko also said that a vaccine is being developed.
“Seven vaccines are entering the third clinical stage. I think we will have vaccines in the spring, and then we will cope with the virus more efficiently,” the chief sanitary doctor emphasized.
