The mayor of Kyiv Vitalii Klitschko reported more than 220 new cases of coronavirus over the past day.
“The number of coronavirus patients in Kyiv is increasing further: on previous day were reported new 227 cases. Three patients have died. In total, the coronavirus claimed 158 lives of Kyiv residents. In total, there are already 11,172 confirmed coronavirus cases in the capital,” Klitschko wrote.
Among those who got infected on previous day are:
• 114 women aged 20 to 83;
• 104 men aged 18 to 85;
• five girls aged from 5 to 16, as well as four boys aged from 2 to 10.
This figure also includes three health workers.
At least 37 patients were hospitalized. The rest are staying on self-isolation, under the supervision of doctors.
Some 101 people have recovered over the past day, bringing the total number of recoveries to 3,585.
The highest number of new cases was recorded in Darnytskyi district (39), Svyatoshinsky district (37) and Dniprovsky district (31).
