The Ukrainian military from the Special Operations Forces worked out a parachute-free landing from American Bell V-22 Osprey tiltrotors in Lviv region, Ministry of Defense reports.
Two tiltrotor aircraft from the air tactical group of the Special Operations Forces of the US Armed Forces in Europe assisted Ukraine in the training of US special forces together with units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine within the framework of bilateral training.
Having made a flight from Vinnytsia region to Lviv region, the tiltrotor crews took on board the Ukrainian military participating in the international exercises Rapid Trident-2020.
NATO and Ukrainian special forces performed a parachute-free training landing on one of the training areas of the training ground.
The American Osprey tiltrotor is the world’s only production vehicle of its class. It is a hybrid of an airplane and a helicopter.
