On December 14, were recorded 8,416 new cases of the coronavirus. At the same time, 16,150 people recovered, 1,479 people were admitted to hospitals, and 233 patients died. This was stated by the Minister of Health Maksym Stepanov on Facebook.
Among the new patients: 412 children and 447 health workers. The largest number of confirmed cases over the last day was registered in the city of Kyiv (1,559), Odesa (830), Cherkasy (665), Zaporizhzhia (599) and Poltava (575) regions.
According to the Ministry of Health, despite the number of new cases increased it is half the number of recoveries. The number of hospitalizations decreased slightly.
