December 22, the militants violated the ceasefire nine times in Donbas. Ukrainian positions were shelled from artillery, grenade launchers, mortars, machine guns and small arms. This was reported in the press center of the headquarters of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO).
In the area of responsibility of the “Shid” group, the enemy used 122mm artillery systems near Vodiane. In the same direction, the militants opened fire several more times from grenade launchers of various systems and carried out remote mining of the terrain with eight POM-2 mines using PKM-1.
In the area of responsibility of the “Pivnich” group near Luhanske and Pivdenne, the militants used 120mm and 82mm mortars. Also at Pivdenne they fired from heavy machine guns and small arms.
There were no casualties among Ukrainian servicemen.
