Ukraine reports an increase in new cases of coronavirus December 22: 10,136 people were infected. The most difficult situation is in Kyiv city and Zaporizhzhia region. The Minister of Health of Ukraine Maksym Stepanov announced this on his Facebook page.
Over the past day, the largest number of confirmed cases was registered in Kyiv city (1,381), Zaporizhzhia (887), Kyiv (809), Odesa (792) and Kharkiv (591) regions.
In total 61,445 tests for coronavirus were done (in particular, by PCR – 41,219, by ELISA – 20,226). 2,979 people were hospitalized per day; 15,372 people recovered. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 989,642 people were ill; 615,660 people recovered.
