Ukrainian Government has approved a bill on the restoration of privatization of large-scale privatization facilities. This solution makes it possible to carry out a number of preparatory and organizational measures preceding the direct sale of large privatization objects, in particular, holding auctions for the sale of large privatization objects. “The strategic course of Ukraine on privatization and attracting investments in the Ukrainian economy during the coronavirus epidemic remains unchanged. Transparent privatization makes it possible to find an effective owner for enterprises. For the state, this means not only filling the budget, but also increasing investments, creating jobs and developing regions,” said Ihor Petrashko, Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.
Recall that in March, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a law that temporarily, for the period of quarantine and restrictive measures, stops large privatization.
