The privatization of state assets brought UAH 2.5 billion to the state budget. This was reported by the press service of the State Property Fund.
It is noted that this figure is 5 times higher (UAH 547 million) than last year and 10 times higher than the figure for 2018 (UAH 269 million).
So, this year 1,884 objects were privatized. In 2019, 1,635 state properties were sold, in 2018 – 859.
The privatization plan for 2020 has UAH 12 billion from the sale of state property. But in connection with the coronavirus pandemic in March, the State Property Fund stopped the “big privatization”, during which a number of large objects were to be sold.
The state budget for 2021 provides for proceeds from privatization in the amount of UAH 6 billion. This may reach UAH 12 billion if the Verkhovna Rada lifts the ban on the privatization of large state facilities during quarantine.
