International air traffic with Ukraine can fully recover only by 2023. In the next 2022 – at about three quarters, said the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, reports RBC-Ukraine.
“We expect that this year, provided that everything will move on the projected plane, if the vaccination program is successful and countries will open, if there are no new strains of coronavirus or new worldwide waves of the epidemic, we will reach half of the volume of air travel from 2019,” said Krykliy.
The minister clarified that in 2020, Ukraine reached 28% of the volume of passenger transportation in 2019.
He noted that last year Ukraine fulfilled only 28% of the volume of passenger traffic compared to a year earlier, which was, according to the minister, the most successful for aviation.
“Already in 2022 – by about three quarters, and then in 2023 we will fully restore the volume that was before the pandemic,” he said.
