As a result of deteriorated weather conditions, as of the morning of February 12, 86 settlements in 6 regions across Ukraine remain de-energized.
Most of the settlements left without power supply are in the Lviv region, according to the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
“As of 7A on February 12, automatic protection systems of power lines get triggered due to bad weather and 86 settlements in six regions were de-energized,” the message says.
Without electricity left 38 settlements in Lviv region, as well as in Odesa (15 settlements), Sumy (15), Kyiv (7), Chernivtsi (7) and Zakarpattia (4) regions.
Regional power distribution companies deployed workers to restore power supply.
