USS Carney destroyer leaves Black Sea

The USS Carney destroyer, equipped with the Aegis missile defense system, has left the Black Sea on August 27. This is reported by the press service of the United States Sixth Fleet.

«USS Carney (DDG 64) departed the Black Sea on August 27 after conducting maritime security engagements with allies and partners. Carney’s operations in the Black Sea demonstrated the U.S. commitment to collective security with NATO allies and partners in the region,» – the report said.

As The Journalist reported earlier, the United States Sixth Fleet USS Carney Destroyer has entered the Black Sea.
