Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov in 2018 acquired several apartments and had multimillion-dollar incomes. Avakov himself said this by filling out a declaration for 2018.

Avakov declared 3 apartments with an area of ​​657.90 sq. m, 55.40 square meters, 70.90 square meters, two in Kharkiv and one in Kharkiv oblast. The cost of one apartment in Kharkiv is not indicated, the cost of two more in Kharkiv and the Kharkiv oblast is 965 798 and 5907 UAH, respectively.

The declaration of the head of Ministry of Internal Affairs includes more than a hundred paintings, three collections of coins totaling more than 2000 pieces, one in joint ownership with his wife, a joint collection of wine with his wife – more than 750 bottles, several sets of furniture, mainly Italian – with his wife, together with his wife – a library of books, magazines, prints with more than 8,000 copies, a collection of cold weapons for 9 units – in common ownership with his wife.

Avakov declared 12 shares in PJSC FC Metalist, 100 percent of the corporate rights of a legal entity Avitalia s.r.l., the main office of which is located in Italy. In addition, Avakov declared the copyright to his two books – “Lenin with us?” And “The Green Notebook,” each of which is in three languages: Ukrainian, Russian, and English.

According to these data, the salary of the minister as a whole amounted to UAH 919,203, royalties from the Folio publishing house – UAH 67,014, interest – by UAH 249,500 thousand.

On bank accounts in several Ukrainian banks, as the minister declared, he has cash in the amount of UAH 1,726,954 and $ 189,626, as well as in the Italian bank Banca Popolare del Frusinate – € 148,232.

Avakov owns assets in precious (bank) metals in the amount of UAH 200 thousand, as well as cash – UAH 14,000, $ 10,000 and € 55,000, as well as cash in the amount of 1900 Canadian dollars, 96,000 units of Japanese currency, JPY and etc.
