The average nominal wage of a full-time employee in Ukraine in April 2019 increased by 21.1% – up to UAH 10,269 compared with April last year.
This was reported by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
It is noted that the average salary in April increased by 0.3% compared with March 2019.
Real wages in April this year decreased by 0.8% compared with March, and increased by 11.2% compared with April, 2018.
The State Statistics Service emphasizes that the average nominal wage of a full-time employee in Ukraine in April of this year is 2.5 times higher than the minimum wage, which is UAH 4,173.
The average salary in Kyiv in April amounted to UAH 15,876.
