Ukrainian side has long sought the proclamation of the year of Ukrainian culture in Austria, and finally, it happened. About this wrote Ukrainian Ambassador to Austria Oleksandr Scherba on his Facebook page.
“The year 2019 is proclaimed. Last week, the government decided that the year would be spent by a young team of the Ukrainian Institute. Serious funds have been allocated for the project,” Shcherba wrote.
The program of the year of Ukrainian culture provides for many events, including photo exhibitions, concerts of Ukrainian music, Ukrainian cinema days, a Ukrainian stand at a book fair, fashion shows and a literary festival.
Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that the Day of Hutsul culture took place in Lviv.
