Over the past day, the militants launched 21 attacks on the Ukrainian army positions, four times using weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. This is reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) HQ on its official Facebook page.
It is reported that the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions in the areas of the settlements of the Krymske, Zolote, Novozvanivka, Luhanske, Zaytseve, Pisky, Krasnohorivka, Novomikhaylivka, Novotroyitske, Starohnativka, Hnutove, Vodyane, Lebedynske and Shyrokine over the past day.
«The Russian occupying forces opened aimed fire with grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. The positions of the Joint Forces in the area of the settlement of Vodyane came under enemy fire of 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, and the Luhanske fortified positions were attacked with 82-mm mortars,» – the message reads.
According to the defenders of the Luhanske, occupiers used weapons of the IVFs.
No casualties among the Ukrainian troops have been reported over the past day.
According to intelligence data, four militants were destroyed and six were injured over the past day.
As The Journalist reported, militants shelled JFO positions 28 times over past day. One Ukrainian soldier was injured.
