Over the past day, May 30, militants opened fire on Ukrainian Army positions 28 times, 9 times using 122-mm artillery, 120-mm and 82-mm mortars. Two Ukrainian soldiers were injured, – the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) reported on Facebook.

In Luhansk region, the situation was most tense near the villages of Krymske and Novotoshkivske.According to the JFO HQ information, the militants were active near the villages of Zaitseve and Novotroyitske (Donetsk region).
«During the combat, two Ukrainian defenders were injured. They were immediately evacuated to the hospital, their lives are not threatened», – the message said.
At the same time, the HQ staff noted that since the beginning of the current day, May 31, intensity of hostilities subsided. The fighting continued with the use of small arms.
