On September 10, the militants launched 24 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas, three times using weapons, banned by the Minsk agreements. This is reported by the press center of the Joint Forces Operation HQ on Facebook.
Russian occupation troops opened aimed fire from 120-mm and 82-mm mortars, arms of infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms.
The occupiers fired at the JFO units positions in the areas of the Krymske, Zolotoe, Luhanske, Maiorsk, Shumy, Pivdenne, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Vodyane, Lebedynske and Shyrokine settlements.
The enemy also shelled the JFO positions in the vicinity of the settlement of Luhanske using 120-mm mortars and the area near Krymske with 82-mm mortars. The positions of the defenders of the Vodyane came under mortar fire of both calibers.
During the combat, one JFO serviceman was killed, another one was injured.
The report notes that according to the intelligence data, during the day, two occupiers were killed, another four were wounded.
«Since the beginning of the day, the enemy fired at JFO units positions near Kamyanka and Shyrokine, using heavy machine guns and small arms. As a result of the shelling, one serviceman was injured,» – the report said.
