Militants shelled Joint Force units positions 46 times during the day: one soldier was killed, three other were wounded

Over the past day, August 14, militants shelled Ukraine’s Joint Forces positions 46 times in Donbas, with one Ukrainian soldier killed and three others injured. This was reported by the Joint Forces Operation HQ on Facebook.

The militants opened fire on the positions of the Ukrainian army 46 times, 10 times using weapons banned by the Minsk agreements.
Militants attacked positions from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms, and in certain areas the enemy used infantry fighting vehicles, 152-mm artillery and 122-mm mortars.
The defenders of the settlement of Krymske, Troyitske, Zolote, Svitlodarsk, Maiorsk, Zaitseve, Krasnohorivka, Opytne, Maryinka, Pisky, Novotroyitske, Chermalyk, Hnutove, Lebedynske, Pavlopil, Vodiane and Shyrokyne came under enemy fire.
Along with this, the enemy shelled defenders of the Krymske using 152-mm artillery, and defenders of Hnutove, Vodiane and Shyrokyne came under fire of 122-mm artillery. The JFO positions near the Krymske, Maiorsk, Zaitseve, Chermalyk, Lebedynske and Vodiane were shelled with the use of mortars.
As a result of the fighting, one Ukrainian defender was killed, three other were injured.
In turn, according to intelligence data, three occupiers were destroyed, seven were injured.
As The Journalist reported earlier, during the day militants violated ceasefire regime 20 times, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded.
