Militants mounted 17 attacks on Ukrainian army positions over past day: one Ukrainian soldier was wounded

Over the past day, June 11, Militants launched 17 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area. As a result, one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action. This is reported by the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation (JFO) on Facebook.

In the Luhansk sector, the enemy made another provocation near the disengagement area in the settlement of Stanytsia Luhanska, having opened several burst-fire from a heavy machine gun toward the Ukrainian positions, once again thwarting the implementation of the decision of the Trilateral Contact Group. The defenders of the village of Krymske also came under fire from grenade launchers.
It is noted that the invaders intensified in the Svitlodarsk sector.

«Here, the enemy employed grenade launchers, opened an aiming, but short fire from heavy machine guns and small arms seven times against the Ukrainian positions in the town of Svitlodarsk, and the villages of Novoluhanske and Luhanske,» – the message stated

In the Donetsk and Mariupol sectors, the enemy’s activity decreased compared to the previous days.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, militants shelled Ukrainian army positions 20 times over past day.
