More than 100,000 Ukrainian families received “baby boxes”

Over the past 2018, more than 100,000 Ukrainian families have received a “baby package” after the birth of a baby. This was stated Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during a government meeting.

“Last year we introduced a system of providing support -“baby packages”. And in fact, more than 100,000 such packages were given to women in labor only after the birth of a child last year,” the head of government noted.
According to him, the government has also significantly simplified the procedure for registration of documents at birth by introducing electronic registration.
Groysman also recalled that such support as tax compensation from the state began to operate in Ukraine when young parents use nanny services – under the program “municipal nanny”.
