National Security Advisor to US President Donald Trump John Bolton said the United States is concerned about the militarization of Crimea and the worsening situation in the Black Sea. This was reported by Radio Liberty.

Bolton noted that the United States expects the access to the Black Sea to all coastal states and other trading parties will be preserved.

“We are very concerned about this. There are many NATO allies in the Black Sea. We expect access to the Black Sea to all coastal states and other trading parties. The same applies to the Baltic Sea and to the Arctic Ocean,” Trump’s adviser said.

He also noted that the United States is ready to protect its interests around the world, as well as the interests of its friends and allies.
