The British HMS Echo (H87) reconnaissance ship arrived at the Odesa seaport on May 6, Dumskaya local newspaper reported.
HMS Echo entered the Black Sea on April 20 and, according to the agreement on the regime of the Black Sea straits, must leave it until May 10. From April 21 to 25, the ship was in Constantza, Romania, and from April 30 to May 3, it was in Georgian Batumi.
According to preliminary information, the ship will stay in Odesa until May 9.
The head of the Royal Navy delegation, Captain 2nd Rank, Matthew Warren, reported that the ship’s visit demonstrate UK support to Ukraine.
