On April 29, during a government meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the allocation of UAH 100 million for the purchase of mechanical ventilation devices.
“In accordance with the requirements of the COVID-19 Acute Respiratory Disease Response Fund, in total UAH 100 million will be allocated on a non-repayable basis to the Health Ministry from the Acute Respiratory Disease Response Fund,” Minister of Health Maksym Stepaniv said.
He also noted that about 200 modern devices for mechanical ventilation, which meet all necessary technical criteria, can be purchased with the allocated funds.
