Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Government of Canada signed an agreement on joint film production

An agreement on joint production of audiovisual works was signed between Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Canada, Uryadovy Portal reports.

The signing of the Agreement will expand the possibilities of promoting Ukrainian creative industries, in particular, audiovisual works through constant exchange and intercultural dialogue between countries, the participation of Ukrainian producers of audiovisual works in international film projects, as well as popularization of Ukrainian art.

“Today, the Government supported the signing of an agreement on joint film production between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Canada. This event is waiting for both Ukrainian and Canadian film industry, because it opens an extraordinary window of opportunity for the spread of Ukrainian cinema in Canada, bright joint projects, investments, new joint victories in the world film arena, ”said Yevhen Nyshchuk, Minister of Culture of Ukraine.

Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that Yevhen Nyshchuk proposes to introduce the position of “city designer.”
