Checkpoints in Donbas to change mode of operation from Dec 1

All entry/exit checkpoints along the contact line in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area will change the mode of operation from December 1. This was reported by the JFO press service.

“In accordance with the order of the Commander of the Joint Forces, all the entry and exit checkpoints along the demarcation line in JFO area will shift to the winter mode of operation from December 1, 2019,” the report said.

In accordance with the order of the JFO commander, persons and vehicles will be checked out daily from 08:00 to 17:00.

“The command of the Joint Forces calls on the citizens to take this information into account when planning their trips,” the report says.

As The Journalist reported, Kalanchak checkpoint was closed for maintenance work for a week.
