The number of people injured as a result of eating bought near metropolitan kiosks has reached 70. About this informs Press Service of the Main Department of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in Kyiv.
70 cases of acute intestinal infection, including 10 cases among children, were registered in Kyiv. It is noted that 33 cases (of which 3 cases among children) are associated with eating shawarma near the metro station Darnitsa. Another 26 people (including two children) were poisoned with shawarma and sausages in pita bread with mayonnaise, purchased at the MAF near the Cafe River Port at Poshtova Square. In addition, 11 cases of poisoning (of which 5 children) are associated with the use of shawarma in Obolon district. Another case of acute intestinal infection was registered in a pregnant woman after consuming shaurma, purchased near the metro station Lesnaya.
Previously, those who applied for help were diagnosed with salmonellosis.
