In the thickets on a pasture near his village, while searching for scrap metal, a local resident found three plastic bags in which there were grenades.
During the inspection of the scene of the incident, the police seized 185 pieces of combat corps of manual fragmentation offensive grenades of the “RGD-5” type and 28 standard packages with fuses for hand grenades of the “UZRGM-2” type in the amount of 280 pieces.
According to preliminary information, ammunition was manufactured durng Soviet times.
Earlier, the “Journalist” reported that rescuers put out a second day fire at a dump near Poltava.
