The mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko reported 332 new coronavirus cases over the past day, the Kyiv City State Administration informs.
“There is a new outbreak of the virus in the capital over the past day: 332 more patients! In total, the coronavirus claimed 218 lives of Kyiv citizens, up five on previous day. Today, there are already 13,878 confirmed coronavirus cases in the capital,” Klitschko said.
Among those who were infected on previous day are: 180 women aged 19 to 84; six girls aged from two months to 17. Also, 137 men aged 18 to 92 and nine boys aged from one year to 15. In addition, this figure also includes 14 doctors.
“The number of hospitalized people has also sharply increased. 75 patients were hospitalized in the capital! Others are on self-isolation under the supervision of doctors,” the capital’s mayor stressed.
Some 68 people have recovered over the past day, bringing the total of recoveries to 4,450.
“The highest number was recorded in Darnytskyi district (59), in Dniprovskyi district (54), in Desnianskyi district (47),” Klitschko said.
