Days of Ukrainian Cinema to be held in Portugal

From 26 to 28 March 2019, Days of Ukrainian Cinema will be held in Lisbon (Portuguese Republic) for the first time with the support of Ukrainian State Film Agency. This is reported by Ukrainian State Film Agency.

The multicultural center of Lisbon Biblioteca Municipal Orlando Ribeiro will host Ukrainian cinema festival. The festival program provides for the display of both modern Ukrainian films of various genres, as well as Ukrainian cinema classics.

The festival will be opened by Zaza Buadze’s detective “The call sign “Banderas”. Also, viewers will have the opportunity to see the drama “Black Level”, directed by Valentyn Vasyanovych, documentary film “The War of Chimeras” by Mariia and Anastasia Starozhitsky and almanac “My Country – Ukraine” from workshop “Innovatorm” animators under direction of Stepan Koval. In Days of Ukrainian Cinema program retrospective screening of the film “The Lost Letter,” directed by Borys Ivchenko is also planned.
