The first “Ecohope” deep solid waste sorting station will be opened in Vinnytsia on the basis of Vasyl’ Stus Donetsk National University, Ukrinform reports with reference to the press service of University.
The initiators of the project were students of University, with the support of the Faculty of Biology and the NGO “Nashe Podilya”.
“The project initiators will sell the raw materials to the processing enterprises, and the funds will be spent on students’ environmental initiatives and environmental materials that will help ещ reduce the use of plastic,” the report says.
The Ecohope station for deep sorting of solid household waste will be located on the territory of one of the University buildings.
