Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said that Ukraine will definitely index pensions, however, he did not specify when. He announced this on the air of the “Right to Water” TV program.
According to him, the government need to figure out budget’s opportunities, what the ministers have already begun to do.
“Of course, we will index pensions this year. To do this, we will study the budget’s opportunities. I will not deceive that tomorrow we will index pensions, but we will do it this year and we will definitely find this opportunity and we will not let down pensioners who have earned their pensions,” Denys Shmygal said.
