The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Lyudmyla Denisova, has received a responce letter reveals the health state of Ukrainian political prisoner Oleh Sentsov, who is on his 138th day of hunger strike. The letter was sent from Mikhail Fedotov, the Chairman of the Russian Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights. The Ombudswoman reported this on her Facebook page today, 28 September.
The letter assures that Sentsov’s health state was recognized as stable, according to the findings of the consultation of doctors at the Labytnangi city hospital, which was held on September 12. Denisova expressed doubts about the reliability of this information and the quality of performed inspection.

«Today, Oleh is under medical supervision due to the disease of the musculoskeletal system. In addition to this information, unfortunately, I have not been provided with any supporting medical document from the Russian Federation, despite the fact that I insist on this for a long time. There is no official doctor’s consultation conclusion,» – the Ombudswoman wrote on her Facebook.

Mrs Denisova expressed her hope that «the Russian Federation will yet send official medical documents on Oleh’s current health condition in the near future.»
As The Journalist reported, Oleh Sentsov became an honorary citizen of Paris.
