Polish rail operator PKP Intercity plans to launch additional railroad link along the route Przemyśl – Wrocław – Zielona Góra -Berlin. This is reported by Rynek Kolejowy news portal.
It is reported that the announced launch is motivated in view of growing traffic of passengers from Ukraine.

«Trains from Przemysl to Lviv and Kiev carry more and more passengers annually. For the first five months, we already have so many passengers, as for the whole last year, when when the number of travelers doubled. Obviously, we will see another doubling in the number of passengers from the east directions», – said Marek Chraniuk, the CEO of PKP Intercity.

A «Metropol» train is planned to be formed with trailer cars, that will cling to the train in Wrocław on the route to Berlin.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, on the occasion of a long weekend, Ukrzaliznytsia appointed seven additional trains.
