According to the World Bank Doing Business – 2019 report, the quality of lawsuits in Ukraine is rated at 11.5 points out of 18, which is a fairly high figure.
The court system quality index determines the time and cost of resolving a commercial dispute in local courts of first instance, as well as the quality of litigation, which depends on the implementation of best country’s practices that improving the efficiency of cases, in particular, the automation of courts and alternative dispute resolution.
It is noted that success in the legal proceedings was achieved thanks to the judicial reform in Ukraine.
Recall that in the Doing Business-2019 overall ranking Ukraine ranked 71st among 190 countries, which is five positions higher than last year.
As The Journalist reported, the Cabinet of Ministers plans to introduce a court fee for a claim on consumer rights violation.
