In October 2020, Ukrainians bought and registered 657 electric vehicles, which is 15% less than last year, while the share of new cars (in acquisitions) rose to 11% against 6% a year earlier, Ukravtoprom reports.
The bulk of the October registrations of electric vehicles, as before, were cars – 632 units. (-11% to October 2019). The number of commercial electric vehicles registered per month is 25 units (-59%).
In just ten months from the beginning of the year, Ukrainians purchased and registered 6,309 electric vehicles, or 1% more compared to the same period last year.
The most popular electric car among Ukrainians is Nissan Leaf. Among the leaders are also Tesla Model 3 (729 cars) and Tesla Model S (676 units), 5 Fiat 500e – 319 cars, Chevrolet Bolt and Tesla Model X (310 cars each).
